KUANTAN: Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi were granted an audience with the Sultan of Pahang, His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at Istana Abdul Aziz, Indera Mahkota here on Tuesday.

Also in attendance were the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, His Royal Highness Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, His Royal Highness Tengku Panglima Raja Tengku Amir Nasser Ibrahim Shah, His Royal Highness Tengku Panglima Perang Tengku Ahmad Ismail Mu’adzam Shah, and Her Royal Highness Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Ilisha Ameera.

Also present were Her Royal Highness Che Puan Panglima Raja Puteri Suraiya Afzan Dato’ Indera Mohamed Moiz, and the Menteri Besar of Pahang, Dato’ Sri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.

During the meeting, various matters were discussed including current affairs and bilateral cooperation that could be mutually beneficial for both states.

The visit lasted for one hour and ended with a luncheon.

Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi expressed his gratitude for His Majesty the Sultan of Pahang’s generosity and prayed that Al-Sultan Abdullah and the royal family would be blessed with good health. -UKASnews
