MEITD Strengthens Unity Through Innovation In Schools

KUCHING: The Ministry of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development (MEITD) is strengthening its efforts to foster unity while embracing innovation and technology by collaborating with schools, particularly Chinese Independent Schools.

Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation, and Talent Development, Datuk Dr. Annuar Rapa'ee, emphasised that the ministry’s mission is to prepare students for the demands of the 21st century by nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills.

“In the spirit of unity and progress, MEITD believes it can ensure a cohesive and inclusive educational experience for all.

“Through collaboration, we can combine the strengths of our diverse educational approaches and build a more resilient and adaptive system,” he said.

He said this in his text speech delivered by the MEITD Permanent Secretary, Adana Jed, during the Sharing Session with Chung Hua Middle School No. 3 Kuching on Thursday.

Datuk Dr. Annuar further highlighted the ministry’s commitment in ensuring all schools in Sarawak have the necessary resources and support to integrate technology effectively into the learning process.

“By embracing technology and innovative teaching methods, you can provide students with an education that prepares them for the challenges of tomorrow,” he added.

Among those present were the Chairman of the Committee of Management of Kuching Chung Hua Middle School No. 1, 3, and 4, Richard Wee Liang Chiat, Senior Head of Assistant Director (School Management Sector) at the Sarawak Education Department, Semail Razali, and others. -UKASnews
