KUCHING: 'Rock In The Jungle' (RiTJ) 2024 is set to electrify rock music fans in Sarawak, taking place on December 28 and 29, 2024, at the Sarawak Cultural Village.

The event, organised by Authentic Ideas and Events Enterprise, is supported by the Sarawak Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts (MTCP) and Tourism Malaysia.

The concert will bring together rock bands from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and local talents.

According to the organiser, Zawawi Buang, the concert aims not only to gather rock music fans but also to showcase the culture and beauty of Sarawak to the world.

The combination of rock music and natural beauty will create unforgettable memories, making Sarawak a prime destination for international entertainment and cultural events.

In addition to the concert, the event will feature various other attractions, including food stalls, local craft exhibitions, and exclusive RiTJ merchandise, offering a complete experience for concertgoers.

The event will kick off as early as 2:00 PM, with local rock bands performing on the Pancaindera Stage, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents to the public.

In the evening, the two-day concert promises an exciting experience with energetic performances and iconic rock songs from rock bands specially brought in for RiTJ.

On the first day (December 28), the bands set to rock the main stage include JS Boy, Criss X, XPDC, Jemson, and Sweet Charity.

On the second day (December 29), the bands performing will be BNB Band, Senseless, Candy, Edane, and Wings.
