KUCHING: Sarawak Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar presented Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants from the Unit for Other Religions  (UNIFOR) to four recipients on Friday.

The ceremony was held at his official residence at Kesuma Resort here and was also witnessed by Opar Assemblyman Billy Sujang and Tanjong Datu Assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan.

Among the recipients of the MRP grants were the Chairman of Chapel St Matthew Kampung Titiakar Lundu, Freda Kahang; Chairman of Chapel St Michael Kampung Paon Lundu, Rabin Taram; Chairman of St Francis Church Lundu, SD Benjamin Gersit Jais and Chairman of St Thomas Kampung Sedaing, Adin Sayun.

Also present were the Secretary of the Opar Service Centre, Sebastian Suin Lensi; Treasurer of Chapel St Matthew Kampung Titiakar Lundu, Linda Baker; Deputy Chairman of Chapel St Michael, Paiman Bilon; Treasurer of St. Michael's Chapel, Wilfred Paiman and Secretary of St. Thomas Sedaing Chapel, Bishop Monton.-UKASnews
