KUCHING: Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, received a courtesy call from a delegation of the Sarawak Security and Enforcement Unit (UKPS) at Astana Negeri Sarawak on Monday.

The delegation was led by UKPS Director, Datu Dr. Chai Khin Chung.

According to Datu Dr. Chai, the courtesy call aimed to present the operational uniform of UKPS along with several souvenirs to Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi.

“The items are related to the history of UKPS's establishment, including accessories and memorabilia tied to the founding of the Sarawak Coast Guard,” he said when met by reporters after the courtesy call.

Datu Dr. Chai added that Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi provided valuable advice on improving law enforcement and peacekeeping efforts in Sarawak and shared guidance and insights to help UKPS enhance their operations moving forward.
