BINTULU: Urus Setia Saudara Kita (USK) Bintulu remains a vital platform for empowering Saudara Kita, particularly through Al-Quran education, by fostering a deeper understanding and commitment to living by its values, a dedication that continues to inspire.

Jepak Assemblyman, Iskandar Turkee praised the impact of the Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony organised by USK Bintulu, emphasising how it promotes the practice of Al-Quran teachings.

He expressed his admiration for the participants' commitment to appreciating the beauty and meaning of the Al-Quran during the ceremony.

“Your determination to study and understand the Al-Quran is not only commendable but serves as an example for the wider community. I hope the love for the Al-Quran will continue to grow among Saudara Kita in Bintulu, and that it remains our guiding light, bringing blessings, mercy, and success both in this life and the hereafter,” he said.

He shared these sentiments during the official launch of the Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony by USK Bintulu, held on Saturday.

Iskandar also called on all parties, including government agencies, community leaders, and individuals, to provide continued support for such programmes, ensuring their sustainability for the benefit of both current and future generations.

Among those present were Executive Officer of the Sarawak Islamic Council and Head of the Outreach Unit for the Advancement of Saudara Kita, Mohd Chatazman Abdullah, Islamic Affairs Officer of JAIS Bintulu, Sharifah Faizah Wan Muhamad Nasir, along with other distinguished guests. -UKASnews
