5 October 2026 - The SarawakPass initiative, managed by the Sarawak Civil Service Digitalisation Unit (SCSDU) under the Sarawak Premier’s Department, emerged as a major winner at the Digital Economy Awards 2026 (DEA2026), securing the prestigious Premier’s Digital Economy Award.

In addition to the premier award, SCSDU also secured two other accolades, namely the Digital Government Award for the SarawakPass Project and the Smart Solution Award for Service Sarawak.

The three awards reflect Sarawak’s continued commitment to strengthening digital government transformation and delivering innovative, integrated and citizen-centric digital services.
