17 September 2025 - SCSDU Director Mdm Grace Huong Siew Hung joined as panelist in “Smartgov: AI Landscape for the Future” at SMARTGOV MALAYSIA 2025, MDX SUMMIT 2025, held at the Ballroom, Level 3, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

She highlighted the Dayang AI chatbot, developed to address challenges of traditional service channels post-COVID. Dayang AI serves as a 24/7 digital helpdesk, offering real-time answers, supporting multiple languages and local dialects, and integrating key services such as bill checking, Talikhidmat tracking, Sarawak ID, SKAS, and SCHB.

Looking ahead, Dayang AI will evolve towards a “single front door” for government services, with omnichannel access, voice features, and enhanced inclusivity to ensure no citizen is left behind.

This reflects Sarawak’s commitment to digital transformation and building a citizen-friendly smart government.
