A Dinner Hosted in Honour of the Anglican Inter-Faith Commission Visit.
On 13 October 2025, at Sheraton Hotel, Kuching, our Honourable Deputy Premier of Sarawak and Minister in charge of UNIFOR, Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, graciously hosted a dinner for the Anglican Inter-Faith Commission Visit led by The Rt. Reverend Datuk Danald Jute, Bishop of the Anglican Church in Sarawak and Brunei.
Also present were Heads of Religions, the Director of the Islamic Information Centre, Reverends and senior clergy of St. Thomas’ Church, and UNIFOR staff.
Commission members from Egypt, India, Belize, Myanmar, England, Argentina, South Africa, Canada, Australia, Bangladesh, and Brazil were treated to a vibrant Sarawak cultural performance and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the warm hospitality.
Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar shared his joy at the evening’s success, reaffirming our shared commitment to compassion, inclusivity, and stronger ties between Sarawak and the global Anglican community.
