ENGAGEMENT SESSION WITH HEADS OF OTHER RELIGIONS NO. 1/2025

This morning, Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) successfully hosted an engagement session with the esteemed Heads of Other Religions and representatives from various Houses of Worship led and chaired by Yang Berhormat Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Second Minister for Finance and New Economy, Minister for Infrastructure and Port Development, and Minister in-Charge of UNIFOR. This gathering reflected a strong commitment to dialogue and collaboration on shared concerns. We were honored to have Deputy State Secretary, Yang Berbahagia Datu Buckland Anak Bangik (Administrative) amongst the esteemed guests.
The primary focus of this session today embraced topic on Security of Houses of Worship: Balancing Safety and Accessibility as well as UNIFOR sharing session that builds upon a prior engagement with the Heads of Other Religions that took place on November 8, 2024 at the Sheraton Hotel, Kuching. This continuity reaffirms UNIFOR’s unwavering commitment to foster ongoing dialogue and collaboration in tackling matters of mutual interest.
