This afternoon, YBhg. Dato Georgina Apphia Ngau, together with interfaith members and UNIFOR team, attended the Open House on the occasion of Naw-Rúz 2025, hosted by the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Sarawak.
The event celebrated the spirit of unity, bringing together representatives of diverse faiths in harmony.
Naw-Rúz, meaning “New Day,” is the Bahá’í New Year. This special day symbolises renewal, regeneration, and transformation, heralding the arrival of a divine springtime and inspiring a vision of humanity’s potential for growth and unity.
The event also marked the conclusion of the 19-day Bahá’í Fast, a sacred period of reflection and spiritual rejuvenation for Bahá’ís worldwide.
In celebrating Naw-Rúz, we honour the shared values of peace, interfaith unity, and mutual respect, reminding us of the beauty of togetherness.
