KUCHING: PETRONAS will be hosting an Oil & Gas Career Day for local graduates and school leavers at the upcoming Sarawak Career & Training (SCaT) Fair here, from October 5 to 6, 2024.

The Oil & Gas Career Day at the Hikmah Exchange Event Centre will see participation by more than 20 leading oil and gas players, including JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration, Mubadala Energy, PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) and Petra Energy Berhad, offering more than 700 job opportunities across various fields in the oil and gas industry.

Additionally, a line-up of distinguished speakers will share insights on their personal career journeys in the oil and gas industry, along with valuable tips on resume writing, interview techniques, and more.

Visitors and attendees will have the chance to interact with industry professionals, ask questions, and gain valuable insights on how to build a successful career in this field.

Sarawak Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD), Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn will officiate the opening ceremony on October 5.

In this edition of SCaT Fair, PETRONAS is taking on a prominent role as a strategic partner by joining forces with the event organisers—MEITD and Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS).
