KUCHING: The 21st Malaysia Games (SUKMA XXI) is set to feature special live broadcasts from the first day to the last through various channels.

Sarawak Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, said that all of these will be streamed continuously so that all Malaysians can see when the events are held and watch them live to support the athletes.

“Supporters can watch the championship through live sessions on Astro Arena, TVS, RTM, and even electronic media,” he said.

He said this during an interview with Astro Arena held in his office at Baitul Makmur II on Thursday.

In preparation for SUKMA XXI, Sarawak has set an ambitious target of 70 gold medals. 

Dato Sri Abdul Karim also mentioned that many athletes have been sent abroad for intensive training and international exposure to enhance their performance. -UKASnews
