GEDONG: The full rehearsal in preparation for the visit of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Her Royal Highness the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, to the Gedong District took place smoothly at Dewan Datuk Patinggi Ali, Gedong, on Friday.

The rehearsal, which began at 9.00 a.m., was conducted to ensure that all preparations and the ceremonial itinerary for the Royal Visit to the district proceed perfectly and in accordance with royal protocol.

The session also involved the participation of various state and federal government agencies, including local authorities, security forces, and technical departments, to coordinate all aspects of logistics, security, and ceremonial procedures.

Also present to witness the rehearsal were the Resident of the Samarahan Division, Mohamad Irwan Bahari Bujang, representatives from state and federal government agencies, as well as protocol officers from the Pahang Palace, all of whom worked together to ensure that every detail of the royal ceremony was meticulously organised and adhered to proper royal traditions.

The main focus was placed on the arrangement of seating for dignitaries, the royal procession routes, security control, and the coordination of performances that will take place in conjunction with Their Royal Highnesses’ visit.

With the successful completion of this rehearsal, the organisers are confident that the actual ceremony for the visit of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang and Her Royal Highness the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang to Gedong on 1 November 2025 will proceed smoothly, in an orderly manner, and in full accordance with royal customs and traditions. -UKASnews
